Our farmhouse and property are located in southern Michigan on 75 acres. It was established in the late 1800s and has been in our family since Vernon Eddington purchased the property on September 3rd, 1932. The farm has evolved over the years (between 1932 and 1970) from a cattle farm to an apple orchard and then back to a crop farm. My father acquired the farm in the late 1970s and, in the 1980s, continued the family tradition of a crop farm. In 2017, Paige and her husband Steve decided to purchase the farm to keep it in the family. They have turned the five acres around the farmhouse and barns into a hobby farm
. They planted a dwarf fruit orchard, flowers, and lavender and created a garden full of raised vegetable beds, a large herb garden, and a garden loaded with blueberries and elderberries. Â They also started a small flock of ducks, geese, and chickens. So, a fresh supply of fresh eggs is raised in an all-natural and organic way.
The gardens are maintained without the use of any pesticides to ensure that all our fruits, vegetables, and herbs are premium quality for all our jarred and baked products.
Paige is also an artist in several mediums and holds classes and workshops on the farm. Â You can also find her artwork in the farm storeÂ
Â
EBMY Farm produces eight kinds of salsas, including fresh garden salsa in 3 heat levels, Mango, Pineapple, Black Bean, and Corn, to name a few.  We also produce a line of chutney, mango, pineapple, cherry, and fall harvest, pear-based.  We also currently make a spicy jalapeño jam, a selection of seasonal jams and jellies like our Strawberry Watermelon, Peony jelly, Garlic scape jam, Lemon honey lavender, a line of Pesto, and fruit curds.  Some of our unique savory jellies are Apple garlic rosemary jelly, Mango Jalapeño, Spicy grape onion jam, and Pineapple pepper jelly.  There is also a line of smooth and creamy butters (jam without fruit pieces): Grape butter, Hawaiian butter, Blueberry Lavender butter, and Apple butter.
From May to October, you can find EBMY Farm and all our products at the local Farmer’s market every other weekend on Fridays and Saturdays.  Our farm store is located on the farmhouse side. The shop has all our jarred jellies, jams, salsas, and BBQ sauces. When available, fresh eggs and cut flowers. Bouquets. The shop also has sweet and savory treats as well as take -and -bakes.  Â
Attached to the farm store is Duck-a-Roo Studio.  The studio offers classes and workshops in several different mediums starting in May through November. The store also has art pieces created at Duck-A-Roo.Â
