This extra large bushel gourd has been hollowed out and cleaned to be turned into a basket. It is around 16" x22" by 16" tall and has been painted in leather stains and coated with a lacquer spray to make it shine. It also has a birch branch as a stem and is adorned with some smaller gourds that resemble flowers.
This an indoor decorative piece and best if it is not put into direct sunlight as the stains will fade over time.
