EBMY Farm and Duck-A-Roo Studio presents Playing in Mudd from 10:00- 3:00. The Workshop is located at EBMY Farm, 15376 Erie Rd. Albion Mi
Bring your creativity. and make something exciting in these two 5-hour pottery workshops and enjoy an alfresco class under a tent at the farm. The First session entails creating your vision, a Garden Goddess, a beautiful decorative bowl, sunface, wall hangings, etc. You need to come with a vision in mind. Print out your inspiration and bring it with you. Using your phone for a reference is very time-consuming, and the wet clay and the dust are very hard on the phones. If you do not have a printer, email your photo or screenshot to ebmyfarm@gmail.com, and I will have a copy for you at the first class. No links, please.
After everyone's projects are dry and kiln-fired, we will have the second 5-hour class. During this session, everyone will glaze their project. All the projects will be fired for a second time and be available for pickup in 2 weeks or less.
A light lunch will be served around noon in each session, with some time to meet your classmates and share ideas. Refreshments of coffee, tea, soda, and some farm-fresh bakery treats will be available throughout the day.
All sales are final and while there are no refunds or transfers to other workshops, you may transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to attend.
**Due to a multitude of factors with creating clay art from scratch, about 5% of the time a piece will crack in the firing process. Know that these circumstances are out of the control of the studio and we can not guarantee that your project will survive the firing process- unfortunately, cracks happen. Even to us! If your piece cracks during the firing process, unfortunately, there are no refunds.
