EBMY Farm and Duck-A-Roo Studio presents Playing in Mudd from 11:00-3:00. The Workshop is located at EBMY Farm, 15376 Erie Rd. Albion Mi
Bring your painting skills and create a beautiful platter embossed with flowers or mushrooms. This 4-hour pottery workshop will be an alfresco tent at the farm. The workshop entails creating a free-formed platter using embossed rolling pins, fluting or rounding edges, adding handles, and other details. Each artist will use underglazes to add color and texture to complete their design. The platter will be allowed to dry slowly, then fired and ready for pickup in three weeks.
A light lunch will be served around noon, with some time to meet your classmates and share ideas. Refreshments of coffee, tea, soda, and farm-fresh bakery treats will be available throughout the day.
**Due to many factors when creating clay art from scratch, there is a slight chance that a piece will crack during the firing process. These circumstances are uncontrollable and there is no guarantee that your project will survive the firing process. Cracks happen even to skilled potters. There are no refunds even If your piece cracks during the firing process.
